Description – Residential Construction Superintendent

JMS Building Corporation is an established Building Contractor, based in DeLand, Florida. We specialize in water, fire and storm damage restoration through insurance claims, new home construction and commercial projects. We are seeking a motivated candidate to manage construction projects from start to finish to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest-quality standards.

Successful performance in this role will lead to the opportunity for advancement into a project manager position.

Responsibilities -

· Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of residential construction projects.

· Oversee budgets, schedules, and project scope to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.

· Communicate regularly with clients, subcontractors, and team members to provide updates and address concerns.

· Conduct site visits to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

· Manage permits, inspections, and compliance with local building codes.

· Resolve issues or delays that arise during the construction process.

· Coordinate the work of subcontractors and delivery of materials and equipment.

· Ensure accurate project documentation and reporting.

· Company vehicle, phone and laptop supplied for work use.

Requirements -

· Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and codes.

· Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks.

· Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Reliability and punctuality are essential for daily responsibilities.

· A valid driver's license and good driving record is required.

· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
