Our client in Albuquerque, NM is looking for a Sales Manager to join their growing team. Our partner is a top homebuilding company in the country!
The Sales Manager in this role will also be training under the General Manager and can grow into this role in a short time!
This is an onsite / full-time / permanent position.
Salary based on experience : $90k-$110k
Position Summary : The Sales manager motivates, and empowers their team to surpass sales targets with a creative, customer-first approach. By concentrating on product trends, competitive landscape, marketplace dynamics, retailer relationships, and consumer insights, the Sales Manager guides the sales team to optimize processes in product and inventory management, leverage technology, and excel in sales strategies. Their goal is to drive continuous growth in market share while delivering an exceptional, world-class customer experience.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Coach and train the team in best practices to optimize customer experience, strengthen business partnerships, and deepen understanding of both company and competitor products.
- Define and enhance product quality and standards from the perspectives of homeowners and retail partners.
- Serve as Chief Communication Officer, actively collaborating with leadership at all levels and staying well-informed about all aspects of business within the Home Building Facility.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new software programs to support team efficiency, retailer needs, and homeowner satisfaction.
- Oversee the facility website, digital assets, social media presence, and marketing materials, either through a third-party marketing team or preferred channels.
- Foster a strong relationship with the Customer Care Manager to ensure exceptional service for retailer partners and homeowners.
- Champion customer care initiatives, including NPS and CX programs, to continually enhance customer satisfaction.
- Promote a culture of continuous coaching and idea-sharing among retail partners and home-building facilities, supporting optimal growth across all locations.
- Streamline sales functions to enhance team clarity, efficiency, and productivity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness throughout the sales process.
- Assist with product development by closely monitoring competitors and market trends.
- Advocate for the quality and range of our products and services.
- Act as a consistent ambassador for the company and actively support recruiting efforts.
- Manage inventory and oversee sales team performance metrics, using them to inspire and further develop the team.
- Track compensation plans for Customer Success Managers and Sales Coordinators.
- Cultivate a positive, energetic environment that promotes a team-focused culture and enhances the Team Member Experience.
- Encourage innovation, celebrate achievements, and hold the team accountable to performance standards.
- Drive growth in market share by challenging industry norms and fostering continuous improvement.
- Engage in personal development by gaining P&L exposure with the General Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
