Job Summary: This position is critical to supporting key initiatives that support our business plan.  This position will provide you with specific project responsibilities, access to mentors, and exposure to Supply Chain initiatives that will be implemented into the business.  You’ll also have the opportunity to meet and collaborate with interns across our organization, developing lasting relationships with interns in different disciplines. Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions of the Job: Support for purchase order processes: including quoting, supplier follow-up, purchase order placement, and support for the supplier portal. Analyze and update data in the ERP; focused on lead times, pricing, and supplier part numbers. Specialized projects as assigned.   Occasional Job Responsibilities: Work closely with the Purchasing team to provide support as required.   Job Requirements: Enrollment in a technical school or college with emphasis in Business, Supply Chain, or related field. Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Office Tools – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.  Intermediate skills preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates exceptional judgement and the ability to ask questions when needed. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle several tasks at a time. Demonstrates initiative and drive. Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems. Must be able to collaborate with others (including in person) to proactively develop solutions.   Physical Requirements: Protective Clothing Required: The incumbent will utilize safety glasses and proper footwear when making visits to the production areas.
