Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Timesheet / Payroll Coordinator to join our team in Clinton Township, MI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate payroll processing and maintaining employee records. Responsibilities

  • Collect and review timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
  • Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Maintain employee records, including time-off requests and attendance tracking.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure proper onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Continuously improve payroll processes and systems for efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred.
  • Proven experience in payroll processing and timesheet management.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and payroll regulations is a plus.
