Litigation Associate

Job description: A prominent national law firm is seeking an associate with 2-4 years of business litigation experience to join their Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group in Orlando. The role involves handling complex business litigation matters in state and federal courts, including:

• Managing written and document discovery
• Researching and drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings
• Conducting/defending depositions
• Preparing witnesses for testimony
• Appearing for status conferences and arguing motions
  
  

Participation in settlement negotiations and trial preparation is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional legal writing, oral advocacy skills, a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to a collaborative practice.

Qualifications:

• JD from an ABA-approved law school
• Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing
• 2-4 years of experience in complex business litigation
• Experience with state and federal courts
• Strong drafting, organizational, and analytical skills
