What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Account Manager- Distribution position at Job Opportunities?
Location: open to all states
- Develop comprehensive growth plan for key corporate distribution accounts including Bunzl, PFG, US Foods, Sysco & Imperial Dade. Plan will include:
- Product strategy that aligns with DWFP product capabilities
- Price strategy that maximizes sales growth and meets DWFP profitability objectives
- Marketing plan that promotes DWFP brand awareness within the customer organization
- Build awareness and positioning of DWFP within the national/broadline distribution network through:
- Participation in sales meetings for identified distributors
- Participation in approved conferences and trade shows that promote DWFP’s offerings
- Manage & direct corporate Distribution Account Managers to accomplish key objectives
- Establish sales plan coordinated with National Account Managers- Distribution for each targeted national distributor
- Coordinate bid activity and follow up
- Assist marketing team in development of product offerings and strategies tailored to national/broadline distributor growth plan
- Evaluate competitor product offerings and strategies to identify sales growth opportunities
- Identify new customers and growth opportunities
- Support company Food Safety efforts through commitment and compliance to SQF standard practices and policies
- Follow plant quality practices including Good Manufacturing Practices, or GMP’s
