Job Summary : As a Landscape Supervisor, you will oversee landscape maintenance operations, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency. You will manage a team of landscape professionals, coordinate project activities, and ensure that all work meets client expectations and regulatory requirements. Essential Job Functions :
- Supervise and lead a team of landscape technicians, ensuring effective performance and adherence to company standards, and contract requirements.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate landscape maintenance and installation projects.
- Conduct site inspections to assess work progress, quality, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices and company procedures.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials; manage procurement as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain irrigation systems, and repair systems per contract statement of work.
- Prepare and manage project budgets and reports.
- Ensure all work complies with QWEL standards and other relevant certifications.
Supervisory Duties :
Responsible for the supervision of JOI employees to ensure all tasks are completed by the requirements of the contract.In charge of quality control for all tasks performed to ensure contractual requirements are regularly met.Ensures all employees have the proper safety equipment needed to meet all safety standards.Responsible for the completion of daily paperwork and keys to keep records current.Informs project manager of any behavior or incidents detrimental to our relationship with GSA or project goals.Maintains supply control to ensure accessibility of necessary items.Ensures proper maintenance and service of equipment to prevent breakdowns of machinery.Directly supervises 3-4 employees during the day shift for landscaping / grounds maintenance team.Carries out supervisory responsibilities by the organization's policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include training new employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.Addressing complaints and resolving problems.Requirements

Be able to reflect at least 5 years of work history.Be able to pass a background check with GSA HSPD - 12QWEL (Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper) certification is required, and other relevant certifications.Proven experience as a Landscape Supervisor or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, irrigation systems, and plant careExcellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.Proficiency in using landscape maintenance tools and equipment.Must have at least 4 years of proven experience as a supervisor.High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Schedule :
