Summary
Our client is looking for an Application Developer for a 6-month W2 contract to join their team! In this role, you will develop both frontend and backend components of cloud-based applications, ensure scalability and security on Azure, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Responsibilities
Use serverless computing and microservices architecture for application developmentDevelop and maintain frontend components using JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular)Build and optimize backend services and APIs using .NET CoreEnsure the scalability, performance, and security of applications on AzureImplement Single Sign-On (SSO) with protocols like SAML, OAuth, and OIDCIntegrate solutions with Active Directory and Identity ManagementCollaborate with business analysts, cloud engineers, architects, and others to define technical requirementsFollow cloud development best practices, including CI / CD pipelines and automated testingDesign applications for high availability and multi-level disaster recoveryIntegrate systems using Azure Integration Services (or similar tools)Provide technical expertise to support application development effortsParticipate in Change Management and Change Board activitiesCreate and maintain technical documentation, user stories, and training materialsStay updated on Microsoft tools, Azure technologies, and industry trendsRequirements
7-10 years of professional development experience is requiredSubstantial proficiency in API development using .NET CoreExperience with frontend development using Angular or similar JavaScript frameworksHands-on experience with Azure services and deploymentsAbility to quickly contribute and adapt in a fast-paced environmentExperience designing and implementing secure, scalable solutionsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication skillsCollaborative mindset and team-oriented approachAbility to clearly articulate project status and tasksEducation / Certification Requirements
Bachelors degree in a development-related field or equivalent experience requiredPreferred Requirements
