Summary
Our roofing client is looking for a Canvassing Sales Manager to add a key player to their field management team! In this role, you will be an energetic leader with the expertise to build, manage, and motivate a high-performing door-to-door (D2D) sales team across Maryland, Delaware, Washington D.C., and Virginia. You will drive sales growth through an innovative storm canvassing system, supported by leads from marketing while establishing a strong community presence and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and train new sales representatives on effective customer communication, roof inspections, closing deals, understanding insurance documents, and project management
- Organize, manage, and assist the canvassing team with door-knocking and overseeing projects
- Develop and implement canvassing strategies to generate leads and increase roofing sales
- Set sales goals and monitor team performance, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct regular training to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques
- Analyze market and storm activities to adjust strategies and improve outreach efforts
- Foster relationships with potential customers and the community to build brand awareness
- Coordinate with marketing to create promotional materials and campaigns specific to canvassing
- Track and report on key sales metrics, including lead generation, conversions, and overall team performance
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience
- Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations during canvassing
- Oversee public adjuster and insurance claim processes
- Collaborate with operations to schedule all roofing projects
