We are seeking a skilled Grinder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating grinding machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various tools and machinery. The Grinder will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet quality standards and specifications.
Duties
- Operate grinding machines to shape and finish metal parts according to specifications.
- Fabricate components using milling machines, lathes, and other equipment as needed.
- Assemble finished products and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Utilize hand tools and tooling effectively for precision work.
- Interpret technical drawings and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance product quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Experience
- Proven experience operating grinding machines or similar equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with milling machines, lathes, and basic assembly processes is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Experience operating forklifts is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $22.51 - $26.76 per hour
