We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, specifically in the manufacturing industry. You will be responsible for managing our accounts receivable, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded, and providing financial reports to management. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities :
Manage all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash receipts, customer account reconciliation, and dispute resolution.
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinate with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
Utilize computer systems and software, including Canopy, to maintain accurate records and generate reports.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial data.
Comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding finances, tax filings, and reporting.
Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, payroll, or a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in computer systems, including MS Office, Canopy, and accounting software.
Solid understanding of the general ledger and bookkeeping practices.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to accounting and financial reporting.
