Job Details
Responsibilities :
1. Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Maintain internal control safeguards and coordinate all audit activities.
3. Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and report significant budget variances to management.
4. Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and projections to senior leadership.
5. Collaborate with team members to understand and manage the company's finance operations and goals.
6. Develop and implement effective financial strategies, control systems, and processes to enhance the overall business performance.
7. Conduct regular financial analysis, identify and manage financial risk, complete financial research, perform complex data analysis, and prepare detailed reports.
8. Work closely with the executive team to provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.
9. Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification is strongly preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Strong knowledge and understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting.
4. Proven experience in preparing financial statements and conducting financial analysis.
5. Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent leadership abilities to oversee the financial team.
7. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
8. Proficiency in accounting software and related tools.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
