We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Desktop Support Specialist-Manufacturing to join our team. This role is a crucial component of our IT department, providing frontline support to our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our IT systems, ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently. The role demands a solid understanding of active directory, DNS, DHCP, Troubleshooting, Windows stack, WiFi Networks, remote support tools, and IT help desk.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide first-line technical support for all IT-related issues within the manufacturing department, including hardware, software, and network-related queries.
  • Manage and maintain active directory, DNS, DHCP, and Windows stack.
  • Troubleshoot IT systems and equipment to identify problems, diagnose issues, and implement solutions.
  • Maintain the WiFi Networks, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity for all users.
  • Utilize remote support tools to provide off-site assistance when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and suggest ways to improve IT systems and operations.
  • Provide training and support to staff on new technologies and systems.
  • Ensure all IT systems and processes comply with industry regulations and standards.

    • Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in managing and maintaining active directory, DNS, DHCP, and Windows stack.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Experience with WiFi Networks and remote support tools.
  • Excellent understanding of IT systems and processes in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Relevant IT qualifications or certifications would be highly regarded.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A team player with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

    Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
