You will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for various electrical construction projects, from conceptual design to final construction. Responsibilities
As an Electrical Construction Estimator, your primary responsibilities will include :
1. Reviewing and understanding project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.
2. Evaluating labor, material, and time requirements for each project to ensure that estimates are as accurate as possible.
3. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
4. Participating in bid reviews and presentations to ensure that all estimates are accurate, competitive, and profitable.
5. Maintaining a comprehensive database of cost estimating information to support future projects.
6. Identifying and quantifying potential cost uncertainties to ensure that risks are properly managed.
7. Monitoring industry trends and developments to ensure that our cost estimating methods and practices remain current and competitive.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Electrical Construction Estimator position, candidates should possess the following qualifications :
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction estimating or a related field.
2. Strong knowledge of electrical construction materials, procedures, and regulations.
3. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
4. Proficiency in using estimating software and other computer applications related to the job.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
