We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Estimator to join our team in the Construction industry. You will play a key role in our organization, contributing significantly to our strategic planning and project development. This position is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional looking to make a substantial impact in a growing company. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in construction estimating, project bidding, budgeting, and cost analysis.
Responsibilities :
Analyze vendor and subcontract proposals to ensure they meet the project's financial and technical requirements.
Perform detailed quantity take-offs to estimate the amount of materials and workforce needed for each project.
Develop accurate and comprehensive construction estimates, incorporating all costs associated with the project.
Participate in project bidding, preparing and presenting competitive bids that meet the client's needs and budget.
Conduct cost analysis, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects during the project planning and development phase.
Monitor and track project costs, ensuring they align with the initial estimates and budget.
Regularly review and update estimating procedures and cost data to reflect current trends and pricing in the construction industry.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction estimating or a related role.
Proficient in estimating software and other industry-related technologies.
Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
Proven track record in project bidding, budgeting, and cost analysis.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
