We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Network Security Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team in the energy industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to the overall security and integrity of our network infrastructure. As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network systems, ensuring the highest level of data security and availability. You will also be tasked with monitoring and managing all aspects of our network security, including firewalls, routers, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, among other tools and technologies. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a strong commitment to excellence, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of network security principles and best practices.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement secure network solutions to defend against security breaches and vulnerability issues.
- Regularly monitor and review network security controls to identify any potential risks or breaches.
- Configure and manage Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco, and CISCO Meraki equipment.
- Develop and manage network architecture, including LAN, WLAN, and wireless networking.
- Utilize SolarWinds to monitor network performance, troubleshoot network problems and outages, and schedule updates and upgrades.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance network security and optimize network performance.
- Conduct regular network performance tests and prepare reports for senior management.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
- Provide technical support and guidance on network security issues to other team members and departments.
Qualifications :
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
