Responsibilities :
As a Permanent Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to :
1. Processing payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Maintaining accurate payroll records, including timesheets, payroll transactions, and employee information.
3. Ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and internal policies.
4. Collaborating with the Human Resources department to manage employee benefits, deductions, and leaves of absence.
5. Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
6. Preparing and distributing payroll reports to management.
7. Assisting with audits and reviews of payroll records.
8. Working with the accounting team to reconcile payroll data and ensure accurate financial reporting.
9. Keeping up to date with changes in labor laws and regulations that may affect payroll processing.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications :
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing or a related field.
2. A strong understanding of labor laws and their application to payroll processing.
3. Experience in the agricultural industry is highly desirable.
4. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is required.
