We are on the hunt for a dynamic, proactive, and experienced Senior IT Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for a tech-savvy individual who is eager to make a real impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will be responsible for managing our server and infrastructure, providing network and system support, and ensuring IT compliance.
Responsibilities :
As a Senior IT Operations Specialist, you will :
1. Manage and maintain server and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
2. Provide network and system support, resolving issues quickly and effectively.
3. Install and monitor CCTV systems, ensuring all footage is stored securely and in compliance with data privacy laws.
4. Utilize AZURE, O365, PowerShell Scripting, and Python to optimize system performance and automate tasks.
5. Ensure IT compliance across all operations, conducting regular audits and implementing necessary changes.
6. Plan and execute system upgrades and roll outs, minimizing downtime and disruption.
7. Monitor and maintain camera systems and Datto backup and recovery solutions.
8. Work with hotel operating systems, ensuring smooth operation and resolving any issues.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies, implementing them where relevant to improve operations.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate for this role will have :
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on server and infrastructure management, network and system support, and IT compliance.
2. Proven experience with CCTV installs and monitoring, as well as camera systems and Datto.
3. Expertise in AZURE, O365, PowerShell Scripting, and Python.
4. A solid understanding of data privacy laws and regulations.
5. Experience with system upgrades and roll outs.
6. Knowledge of hotel operating systems is a plus.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex IT concepts to non-technical team members.
9. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
