We are on the hunt for a dynamic, proactive, and experienced Senior IT Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for a tech-savvy individual who is eager to make a real impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will be responsible for managing our server and infrastructure, providing network and system support, and ensuring IT compliance.
Responsibilities
As a Senior IT Operations Specialist, you will
- Manage and maintain server and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Provide network and system support, resolving issues quickly and effectively.
- Install and monitor CCTV systems, ensuring all footage is stored securely and in compliance with data privacy laws.
- Utilize AZURE, O365, PowerShell Scripting, and Python to optimize system performance and automate tasks.
- Ensure IT compliance across all operations, conducting regular audits and implementing necessary changes.
- Plan and execute system upgrades and roll outs, minimizing downtime and disruption.
- Monitor and maintain camera systems and Datto backup and recovery solutions.
- Work with hotel operating systems, ensuring smooth operation and resolving any issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies, implementing them where relevant to improve operations.
The ideal candidate for this role will have
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on server and infrastructure management, network and system support, and IT compliance.
- Proven experience with CCTV installs and monitoring, as well as camera systems and Datto.
- Expertise in AZURE, O365, PowerShell Scripting, and Python.
- A solid understanding of data privacy laws and regulations.
- Experience with system upgrades and roll outs.
- Knowledge of hotel operating systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex IT concepts to non-technical team members.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
