About the program:
This 10-week summer internship program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in the insurance industry. It provides challenging learning experiences that serve as a foundation for interns to explore their career choices and to develop professional skills. Working alongside some of the most talented members of the specialty insurance industry, interns will gain relevant expertise in various aspects of the field, participate in learning activities and receive ongoing feedback.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with oversight and management of claim files for various Insurance products.
- Understand the terms and conditions of the various insurance products that the company writes.
- Understand the processes involved in creating a best-in-class claim handling experience for the company’s customers.
- Gain exposure to claims from different lines of business.
- Contribute to the completion of claims-related projects and tasks during the internship.
Qualification:
- Actively completing area of study in Insurance & Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Pre-Law, or relevant program.
- College level - current Junior or Senior student.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and customer service mindset.
- Entrepreneurial spirit along with the desire to be a continuous learner.
- Team player who collaborates effectively.
- Self-starter who can work independently and deal effectively with multiple tasks/priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Anticipated completion of Bachelor’s in 2025-2026
- Concentration major of Marketing, Business-focus or Finance
Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $22 - $30 Hourly
