Job Summary
The Industrial Automation Manager will oversee designated manufacturing equipment and technology in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role coordinates safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale initiatives related to assigned equipment and/or technology.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of their specific technology, including operations, component life cycles, and maintenance activities. They will provide coaching and mentoring to team members on Stellantis Production Way techniques for problem-solving and corrective action implementation.
Main Responsibilities
- Create Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMPs) for time-based maintenance, mean time between failure, and requirements to return equipment to basic conditions.
- Work with Skilled Trades staff to ensure designated equipment is maintained at basic conditions and guide/coach them on actions to restore equipment to basic conditions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of established SMPs in achieving KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, OEE).
- Address throughput, run-to-run, and downtime issues with equipment in a production environment.
