Job Description
The Estimating Administrative Coordinator plays a vital role in the planning, directing, and coordinating of daily construction management activities. This position works closely with the Estimating Director and EVP of Operations to review Bid Opportunities, create Bid Schedules, and update Bid Calendars, ensuring all relevant deadlines and dates are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Estimating Assistant's responsibilities, ensuring tasks are completed on time and error-free
- Develop processes for the Estimating Assistant
- Ensure search for Bids and Qualifications through County Website Posting and Bid Reporting Services is completed as required
- Assist with the weekly go/no-go report prepared by the Estimating Assistant
- Ensure required bid documents for projects under consideration have been downloaded and distributed
Additional Responsibilities:
- Prepare necessary deliverable reports and meeting agendas for pre-qualifications and bids
- Set up projects properly in the system, including creating project folders and ordering hard copies of bid documents
- Establish points of contact for subcontractors and trade contractors
- Return bid documents and scan proposals
- Initiate and oversee the Bid Runner process on Bid days
