Description:
Rotation: 2 weeks on / off. Crew change day is currently planned for every other Thursday (subject to change).
Location: Offshore, traveling to Quonset (Applicants should be either local to Quonset or willing to cover their own expenses to and from Quonset).
Expenses: No expenses will be covered for travel. Applicants should be prepared to cover their own expenses for travel to/from home and Quonset.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate offshore activities with the Marine and Helicopter Coordination Centre.
- Arrange meetings and liaise with project stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to project procedures, processes, and IT tools.
- Provide support to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) when required.
- Operate the Offshore Management System (OMS) and provide feedback on lessons learned/change requests.
- Participate in general lessons learned sessions.
- Plan and coordinate Construction, Marine, and Helicopter activities, including preparation of relevant documentation.
- Prepare and host the Daily Planning Meeting.
- Liaise with Packages & Contractors to minimize operational conflicts.
- Coordinate with the MHCC (Marine and Helicopter Coordination Centre) on the execution of planned activities.
- Manage and allocate custody (Time and Space).
- Maintain daily dialogue with relevant Contractors & Masters to ensure compliance with site procedures and OMS.
- Ensure all vessel Masters & helicopter pilots complete the required Inductions.
- Assist the Construction Manager with tasks as needed.
- Chair or attend interface and kick-off meetings with contractors.
- Ensure personnel are approved within OMS.
- Assist with the VCC checklist and issuing of VCC.
- Liaise with HSE team members regarding findings, investigations, and safety initiatives.
- Contribute to Lessons Learned for future projects.
- Provide training to new Offshore Support staff.
- Train the O&M site planning team.
- Track and control all cargo going offshore, including declarations to relevant authorities.
- Manage CTV/Helicopter manifest for personnel tracking.
- Assist with SOMS training documents.
- Maintain vessel/helicopter performance reports.
- Oversee daily coordination and execution plans.
Requirements:
Mandatory:
- GWO courses: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling.
- BOSIET/HUET including CA-EBS.
- OGUK Medical certificate, including Chester Step.
