The Chief Academic Officer/Provost will be responsible for the following key areas:
* Academic Planning:
Develop and implement academic plans, including curriculum development, program assessment, and accreditation.
* Faculty Development:
Collaborate with faculty to improve teaching and learning practices, including professional development opportunities and mentorship programs.
* Student Success:
Develop and implement strategies to promote student success, including advising, mentoring, and support services.
* Accreditation and Compliance:
Oversee the accreditation process and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Additional responsibilities include supervising division deans and other identified staff, making recommendations regarding hiring, discipline, and termination of unit employees, and assisting the President's Cabinet in identifying, establishing, and evaluating the College's goals and objectives.
Requirements:
A master's degree from an accredited institution, at least 5 years of administrative experience in higher education, and a proven track record of leadership and management are required.
