Job Description:
The Chief Medical Executive at Waterfall Community Health Center (WCHC) is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the overall strategy, direction, and operations of the organization. This includes collaborating with the Board of Directors on strategic planning and policy development, as well as reporting to the Board on execution and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative operational programs that support mission achievement and organizational quality.
- Foster a workplace that results in the development, growth, and retention of a high-performing senior leadership team.
- Directly and through WCHC's senior leadership team, manage the activities of staff to ensure the organization is structured and staff are empowered and motivated to deliver its programs and services.
- Evaluate and analyze incidents for risk mitigation and adverse event management purposes to recommend interventions enhancing patient, staff, and organization safety and well-being.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, accounting, or related field; Master's degree desirable.
- Minimum five years of experience in a health care organization with FQHC's or FQHC-LAL's, community health center, or similar setting.
- Strong analytical ability to problem-solve, evaluate, plan, and direct process improvement projects and benchmarking activities for all clinical and non-clinical departments.
