Job Title: Child Nutrition Director
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our child nutrition program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing the district's food service program in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
About the Role:
- Oversee and coordinate the daily operation of the food service program.
- Hire, supervise, and evaluate employees.
- Work with head cooks to plan menus that meet federal regulations and provide nutritious and appetizing options.
- Evaluate meal costs and recommend changes as needed.
- Prepare monthly and annual reports on food service.
- Manage all accounts related to food service.
- Collaborate with the Superintendent to develop policies and budgets for food service and child nutrition.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business or related field preferred).
- Demonstrated expertise in food service and nutrition.
- ServSafe certification required.
