">Traditional Medicinals (TM) is seeking a strategic and results-driven Contract Manufacturing Manager to lead and optimize our co-manufacturing operations. This pivotal role will oversee demand-driven planning, scheduling, and materials management, ensuring seamless production processes across multiple third-party manufacturing partners in the United States and Canada.

- Oversight of existing and new co-manufacturing relationships, ensuring production aligns with TM's growth strategy and operational goals ">
- Drive the successful commercialization of new products, ensuring seamless integration into the supply chain, collaborating with R&D, Marketing, Procurement, and Operations to optimize scalability ">
- Strategic planning and project proposal development, preparing and presenting project proposals, capacity plans, and operational strategies to senior leadership ">
- Contract negotiation, assessing co-manufacturer capabilities, negotiating contracts in collaboration with Procurement and Legal, and establishing mutually beneficial terms ">
- Production coordination, working closely with production scheduling to optimize capacity across multiple facilities ">
- Quality assurance, partnering with TM's quality team to enforce food safety and quality control standards compliance ">
- Supply chain management, ensuring timely receipt and movement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods in coordination with logistics ">
- Performance metrics and reporting, developing KPIs, analyzing performance data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing excellence ">
- Build strong relationships across departments, including Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain Planning, R&D, Procurement, and Marketing ">
- Process improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency, including leveraging Industry 4.0 technologies and automation solutions ">
Requirements
">We seek a professional with deep manufacturing expertise, excellent communication skills, technical and food safety knowledge, and strong problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will have:

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field ">
- 8 years in food & beverage or packaging industries with increasing leadership responsibilities ">
- Strong background in production setup, line operations, and supply chain logistics ">
- Demonstrated experience leading product commercialization efforts, scaling production efficiently, and ensuring seamless market launches ">
- Negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships effectively ">
- Technical & analytical acumen, including weights & measures, conversion factors, freight logistics, and process optimization ">
- Automation & Industry 4.0 experience, including smart manufacturing solutions, automated production systems, and data-driven decision-making ">
- Co-packing & plant management experience and familiarity with volatile supply chains, particularly agricultural commodities ">
- Ability to drive organizational improvements through KPI management and financial acumen with a data-driven approach to decision-making ">
- Up to 40% travel, both domestic and international ">
- Flexibility to occasionally work remotely ">
