Job Summary
We are seeking an attorney who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced corporate environment to join our Clinical Legal team. This individual will work on reviewing, negotiating, and managing clinical trial agreements, reporting to the Clinical Legal team lead. The role will be based in Foster City (CA) or Parsippany (NJ) with a requirement to come into the office at least three times per week.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate clinical trial agreements, handling routine issues and consulting with attorneys when complex questions arise.
- Advise stakeholders and train internal clients on contract forms and procedures.
- Create resources to ensure internal compliance with Company processes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctorate, with an active bar license in at least one state.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating clinical contracts in a bio-pharma company, university, or Contract Research Organization.
- Familiarity with Pharma contract issues that overlap with FDA regulations.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws, both domestic and foreign.
- Experience with intellectual property contract issues.
