About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Counsel to join our SEC, Finance and Transactions team. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide expert guidance on global corporate entity management and governance issues, as well as support overall contracting strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide professional legal counsel and administer the general legal affairs of the Company and its affiliates.
- Negotiate and execute complex global transactions, including bank transactions, private equity investments, and M&A transactions.
- Assist senior management in developing strategies for global transactions and advising on risk mitigation.
- Support policy simplification, consolidation, and client education related to transactional activities.
Requirements:
- Law degree (JD) from an accredited law school in the United States.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with a minimum 7 years' experience addressing corporate transactions and SEC related matters with international law firm and/or as in-house corporate counsel.
- Proven success in using the law to the best interests of clients.
- Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced, virtual and complex environment.
