Job Summary
We are seeking a Dentist to provide dental services to inmate patients within the institution they are assigned to, adhering to security regulations and maintaining accurate documentation of services provided.
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Provide dental care and treatment to referred patients in accordance with facility regulations and standards.
- Perform routine cleaning, restorative dentistry, and extractions as needed.
- Evaluate patients' dental care needs and make clinically appropriate recommendations.
- Takes impressions for dental appliances and instructs patients in good dental hygiene techniques.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and provide in-service training for health staff members.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of dental medicine.
- One year of experience in general dentistry preferred.
