About the Role
We are seeking a Director, Continuous Improvement to lead and manage the deployment of Continuous Improvement (CI) tools, methodologies, standards, and processes at Ellsworth Adhesives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instill a continuous improvement culture throughout the organization with a standardized approach towards problem-solving and daily continuous improvement.
- Work with business leaders to identify and document process gaps to generate continuous improvement plans.
- Develop and implement a training strategy that optimizes lean processes, practices, policies, standards, and metrics that meet or exceed company business objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders to identify organizational needs, train, and coach employees on lean and continuous improvement methods.

Requirements:
- Multisite manufacturing experience with at least 7 years of experience in a manufacturing operations environment.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business-related discipline.
- Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred.
As a proven leader with expertise in teaching and implementing Continuous Improvement methodologies, you will thrive in this role if you have proficiency in analyzing data to drive action, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) methodologies, change management, line balancing, standard work, waste identification, new product development processes, material pull systems, statistical process control, error proofing, value stream mapping, visual management techniques, and failure mode and effects analysis.
