Job Description
The Director of Quality at Innovation Foods reports to the General Manager and is tasked with leading all Food Safety, Regulatory, Sanitation, and Product Quality activities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing daily compliance with food safety regulations
- Oversseeing lab and sanitation programs
- Leading audit preparation & food safety initiatives
- Maintaining plant programs and ensuring daily implementation of food safety standards
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in food safety and quality functions
- Specific expertise in aseptic processing, regulatory compliance, and statistical process control
- Practical experience in developing and implementing HACCP plans and/or Food Safety & Quality plans
- Deep technical knowledge of aseptic processing and packaging industry
- Experience with filing FDA Scheduled Processes and prior experience with process authorities and plant commissioning
