Key Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative and clinical oversight to the DBIS Clinical Department.
- Provides clinical consultation and supervision to senior clinicals and other clinical roles/positions as needed.
- Ensures positive collateral relationships, internally and externally.
- Maintains a positive work atmosphere and models professional and effective communication in all interactions, internally and externally.
Requirements:
- Must be currently licensed in Massachusetts in accordance with applicable law as one of the following: psychologist; independent clinical social worker (LICSW); applied behavior analyst (BCBA); master's or doctorate level teacher with a certification in special education; a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC); doctorate level special education teacher actively teaching the topics of positive behavior support or applied behavior analysis at the college or university level.
- Have at least three years of training, including post graduate class work or formal training, and/or experience in function-based behavioral assessment and treatment.
- Have training in PBS, organizational strategies, and multi-tiered systems of support.
- Have at least five years of clinical experience in the treatment of individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health.
- Have at least 10 years of demonstrated supervisory and leadership experience in a related field, 5 of which must be in a non-profit setting and working under state contracts (DDS/DMH/DCF/MRC).
