Job Description:
The Director of Human Resources is an essential member of the Advanced Surgical leadership team contributing to the development and execution of the business's annual strategic plan.
This position is a senior staff level role at an AMETEK Business Unit based in Southington or Bridgeport, CT.
The individual will play a key role in guiding the strategic direction and leading the efficient execution of activities to profitably grow the business.
- Partnering with the Division VP of Human Resources to drive talent acquisition, talent management, organizational design, and development strategies.
- Utilizing AMETEK standard processes and tools as well as developing innovative and modern strategies to progress the organization forward in talent strategy and employee experience.
- Executing AMETEK standard programs, ensuring team is trained and proficient in program requirements, and AMETEK HR operational expectations.
- Facilitating annual people processes including compensation planning and performance management.
- Collaborating with and coaching the management team to drive improvement, implement cultural change, organization and talent development, workforce planning and a rewarding employee experience.
- Building, with Leadership and the HR team, a robust leadership development and succession plan, a career planning process, individual development plans, knowledge transfer plans, and onboarding strategies.
- Championing appropriate change management and continuous improvement opportunities within the business.
