Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced General Manager VVTA to lead our passenger services team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of our services.
About the Role
- Lead the mobilization of the contract to commence passenger services safely, on time, and within budget.
- Develop and deliver the integrated annual business plan, aligning with our wider business objectives.
- Drive financial improvement across key performance indicators, ensuring alignment between labor and financial performance.
- Monitor and manage costs, ensuring delivery against authorized budgets.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for safety performance and adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all relevant policies and procedures are in place and adhered to.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety performance, resulting in sustainable improvements to lead and lag indicator improvements.
- Lead the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of operations and maintenance processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years as a General Manager or equivalent senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in management, with accountability for safety, performance, and profit/loss.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training and experience.
- Evidence of experience and accountability for emergency planning, incident response, and safety management.
