Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Jobleads-US. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in promoting a customer-focused sales culture, where our values and guiding principles are at the forefront of all store operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Sales Performance and Culture
- Analyze sales reports and KPIs to determine business needs and execute in-store strategies in partnership with the Store Manager.
- Establish clear expectations, hold teams accountable, and control payroll and supply budgets.
- Perform basic operational activities such as scheduling, target shrink audits, physical inventory, and opening/closing duties.
- Building High-Performing Teams
- Motivate and inspire store teams, develop a shared vision, and model core values.
- Promote an inclusive approach to problem-solving, communicate effectively with store teams, and lead positive change.
- Seek personal development opportunities, solicit feedback, and build leadership skills.
- Customer Experience
- Model and teach MAPS principles, offer cohesive omni-channel experiences, and recommend merchandise selections or help locate items based on customer needs.
- E nsure prompt resolution of customer concerns, maintain consistent client communication, and utilize customer books and rewards programs.
- Talent Development and Engagement
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and developing high-performing teams.
- Support training programs, seminars, and performance assessments, and resolve human resources issues in a timely manner.
- Drive associate engagement by recognizing and rewarding employees for outstanding performance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.
- Able to learn or adapt to company technology.
- Proven excellent customer service skills, statistical track record in sales and leadership, and strong organizational skills.
- Regular attendance is essential to this position; ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Constant walking/standing (67-100% of 8-hour shift).
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of 8-hour shift).
- Frequent climbing (34%-66% of 8-hour shift).
