Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
We are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial activities, drive strategic decision-making, and ensure the long-term growth of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee the preparation of current financial reports, summaries, and forecasts, driving informed business decisions.
- Accounting Department Leadership: Direct and motivate the accounting team to produce timely and accurate monthly financial reports, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
- Risk Management: Analyze company liabilities and investments, evaluating and managing capital structure and fundraising initiatives.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with senior management to develop proposal budgets, provide access to project finance information, and manage contract/grant compliance and reporting.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required. MBA and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation highly desired.
- Experience: Eight plus years of experience in financial and accounting leadership required. Banking and/or Financial Services experience necessary.
- Skills: Advanced Excel skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and strong leadership and communication skills.
