BC South Fire Protection District is a dynamic organization serving a diverse community in southern Blaine County and eastern Camas County. As the Head of Fire Protection Services, you will oversee operations, personnel, and financial management to ensure the district's long-term success.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, fire science, or a closely related field from an accredited college/university. A minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the fire service, including at least five (5) years as a chief officer with management and administrative duties, is required.
You will lead a team of 15 full-time firefighters on shift, 3.5 full-time administrative staff, and 15-20 part-time/paid-on-call members. The district operates three incorporated cities and unincorporated areas, providing fire suppression, EMS, and rescue services to approximately 17,000 residents.
