The Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District (MPRPD) is a public agency supported by local property taxes. Our mission is to acquire and maintain open space in the district for preservation and use, working with partners and the community, for public benefit and enjoyment, and environmental protection.
We seek a collaborative and composed team builder who takes a "roll up your sleeves" approach. The ideal candidate is an experienced parks and recreation professional with strong interpersonal skills and who instills customer service values in the organization. They should be knowledgeable generalists with superior leadership and management skills and possess the highest level of personal integrity.
We're looking for someone passionate about and an advocate for parks, natural resource protection, and recreation in the community. This person will work closely with our Board of Directors and stakeholders to ensure the efficient economical performance of our operations and programs.
