About the Job
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to fill the position of Global Reference Materials Leader. As a key member of the GSK team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for managing reference materials and critical reagents.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, excellent leadership skills, and experience in managing complex projects. You will also be expected to collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including GSC Quality & Compliance groups, to ensure ongoing quality compliance and adherence to regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic plan for managing reference materials and critical reagents, ensuring alignment with GSK's quality and regulatory requirements.
- Team Oversight: Lead an internal team responsible for overseeing the reference material and reagent supply model, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Regulatory Compliance: Work closely with GSC Quality & Compliance groups to ensure ongoing quality compliance, meeting the expected standards by GSK.
- CAPA Development: Develop and track corrective action plans (CAPAs) to address issues related to the supply of critical reference materials and reagents.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Experience: 10 years of leading project-level activities within R&D or GSC QC/QA units, including 5 years of leadership experience and 2 years of execution of strategy experience.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities.
