**Job Title:** Program Director of Infection Prevention
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director of Infection Prevention to oversee the daily operations of our Infection Prevention Department. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and managing infection prevention programs, providing expert consultation and education, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversight of daily operations of the Infection Prevention Department
- Development and management of an Infection Prevention Program
- Providing expert consultation and education on infection prevention
- Ensuring compliance with TJC Hospital Accreditation Standards, State and CMS regulations
- Developing and operationalizing the Infection Prevention Program's annual risk assessment, annual plans, and annual evaluations
- Identifying and implementing updates to the Infections Prevention Program when new regulations and/or Professional guidelines are published
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing or clinical laboratory sciences program
- Bachelor's degree in Science (Microbiology, Biology, Nursing, Public Health)
- Board certification in Infection Prevention and Control within 6 months of hire
- Experience with NHSN database/submission, Centuri 7, MedHost, and Microsoft Office
- Active member of APIC (Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology)
