About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Director, Travel Platform to lead our community workspace at the Powerhouse Science Center.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing classes, community outreach, and strategic planning in coordination with our MakerLab Council.
Key duties include marketing, upkeep of equipment and tools, developing exhibits, facilitating training, and successfully communicating with education partners.
A Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, art, or a closely related field or equivalent practical experience is required.
This position requires proven time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects on a daily basis.
About the Team:
You will work closely with our Director of Education to ensure that MakerLab classes meet or exceed educational standards.
Assist with writing and evaluating policies and procedures, as well as managing social media marketing and funding applications.
