Job Title: Senior Counsel, Legal Services (Attorney)
BAYADA Home Health Care, a non-profit organization, is seeking an experienced Attorney to join its Global Support center in Pennsauken, New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage high-risk professional and general liability claims related to healthcare matters
- Collaborate with outside counsel and the legal team to guide defense strategies
- Conduct research, prepare for mediations, depositions, and trials
- Support the Director of Legal Services and the organization's mission and reputation
Requirements:
- 5-8 years' experience managing professional, general, and employment-related litigation
- Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and shift priorities
- Understanding of clinical and legal terminology
- Mastery of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook programs, along with matter management software
- Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
