Job Description:
As the Director of Medical Oncology, you will lead a team of professionals in delivering high-quality oncology care to patients using benchmarks and best practice standards. You will work collaboratively with the Medical Director of Medical Oncology to achieve department goals and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve oncology care delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Maintain accreditation and compliance with Joint Commission regulations
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing with a Master's degree in nursing, business, or a healthcare-related field
- At least seven years of experience in Medical Oncology with knowledge of accreditations and Joint Commission regulations
- Seven to ten years of experience with increasing job responsibilities and a solid record in clinical operations and program development
- Registration and current Massachusetts RN license
