The Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our team and provide excellent service to our guests. As a key member of our management team, you will plan, manage, and guide services for multiple sites. Your goal will be to meet operating and financial goals, guest objectives, and customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team that provides operational expertise in guest services while providing hands-on execution management of operations.
- Manage guest and community relationships at the location, continually assessing operations, and developing plans to provide optimal service and drive employee and customer satisfaction.
- Build, develop, and lead a management team and staff capable of carrying out organizational objectives.
- Recommend methods, resources, and implementation for service improvement and growth based on understanding of operational needs, capabilities, & contractual obligations.
- In partnership with Finance, manage a budget and assist in the design of improvements to optimize financial performance and operational productivity.
- Manage compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and codes and maintain all associated records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with Aramark's standards of operation including safety standards and Aramark's Business Conduct Policy at all times.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree level education highly preferred in an area of Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, Business Management, Parks, and Recreation.
- The ability to focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship, and building and growing a strong business is essential to success in this role.
- Savvy interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with guests, senior management, NPS, State, and Aramark support staff.
- Comfortable reading, understanding, and implementing contractual requirements, including identifying opportunities within contract terms and conditions to address operational issues and grant writing.
- Meaningful experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment.
- Experience in creating and managing a department budget, financial controls, and analysis.
