We manage, operate, and maintain the U.Navy Inactive Ship fleet across diverse locations, including Philadelphia, Bremerton, California, and Hawaii. Our mission is exciting and challenging, involving military vessels such as destroyers, aircraft carriers, and other awe-inspiring Navy vessels.
As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the Budget Analyst with audits and preparing financial reports. You will also perform audits, prepare timecards for employees, and make time-keeping entries for payroll preparation.
Your key responsibilities will include verifying approved PTO and overtime requests, preparing bi-weekly payroll for submission to the Corporate Finance Office, and notifying the Project Manager and HR/Administrative Assistant of employee absences or tardiness daily.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Three (3) years of related experience OR five (5) years of related experience
- Proficiency in Excel and operating a personal computer
- General computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
