Job Responsibilities
- Facilitate IY Classroom lessons to elementary school children (preschool to 3rd grade) to strengthen student emotional, persistence, social, and academic competencies and prevent behavioral problems
- Support outreach and recruitment efforts to engage parents and caregivers in PEI IY Small groups and parent groups
- Collect screening tools and post-service surveys completed by teachers
- Recruit and provide wellness family events and workshops at least four times a year at each assigned school
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, education, psychology)
- 2 years of experience working with children and families in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of participants, program, and schools
