Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Engagement Director to lead the development and promotion of purposeful and engaging onsite and off-site resident programming that supports our Vivid Life objectives.
This role is responsible for facilitating engagement programs that promote a vibrant lifestyle, modeling appropriate and successful engagement of residents for community staff, and developing relationships with volunteer programs and community groups to enhance the engagement experience.
The ideal candidate will have an obvious passion for working with senior adults, polished communication skills in a group or public setting, and proficient computer skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning for special events, parties, and larger events for the entire community, including Memory Care.
- Coordinate outings, special events, and partnerships with the community at large to enhance overall engagement experience for residents.
- Develop relationships with volunteer programs, cultural, artistic, intergenerational, and other groups within the community at large that can provide resources to enhance engagement program.
- Directly supervise Engagement Coordinator(s) and/or Transportation staff as well as indirectly supervise Wellness team members with respect to engagement assignments and duties.
