We're seeking an experienced and results-driven Retail Banking Relationship Builder to join our team at M&T Bank in Nyack, NY. As a key member of our branch network, you'll play a vital role in growing our business through proactive identification of sales opportunities and portfolio management with customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Sales and Customer Engagement: Develop new customer relationships and expand existing ones by providing proactive solutions through the portfolio management process and utilizing M&T's sales process to achieve personal sales and referral goals.
- Customer Assessment and Profiling: Conduct thorough customer assessments and create profiles to identify sales opportunities, ensuring timely resolution of customer issues.
- Risk Management: Comply with all applicable risk management standards, policies, and procedures, maintaining the highest level of regulatory compliance.
- Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of M&T's financial products and services, including interest expense, amortization schedules, and consumer debt scenarios.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years retail sales, call center, customer service, and/or telesales experience.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Skills: Bi-lingual based on branch needs, well-organized individual with time management and prioritization skills, demonstrated financial services product knowledge, and ability to use fax, telephone system, copier, and other communication tools.
