Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Part-Time Critical Care Anesthesiologist. This role requires advanced critical care and anesthesia management skills, as well as collaboration with transplant teams, surgical teams, and OPO staff. The successful candidate will provide expert ventilator management and critical care management for organ donors, ensuring hemodynamic stability and optimal perfusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage mechanical ventilation, oxygenation, vasoactive drips, and fluid resuscitation to preserve organ function.
- Administer appropriate pharmacologic interventions, including vasopressors, inotropes, and other supportive therapies.
- Utilize advanced hemodynamic monitoring techniques and interpret diagnostic data to guide clinical decision-making during organ recovery.
- Assist in the planning and execution of donor management protocols in accordance with established best practices and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, institutional policies, and ethical considerations in organ donation.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in intra-op critical care management of ventilated patients.
- Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation, and pharmacologic management in critically ill patients.
- Commitment to ethical and compassionate end-of-life care.
